The senior management team of FAY Projects GmbH reflects the fact. Our senior management pools proven and recognised experts with various professional backgrounds. There is one thing, however, they all have in common: many years of hands-on experience and interdisciplinary knowledge.

Wolfgang Heid

Chairman of the Board and CEO

Wolfgang Heid's sphere of ownership at FAY Projects includes the corporate divisions finance and controlling, business organisation, human resource and organisational development, risk management, accounting, taxes and legal, IT as well as marketing and corporate communication. In the project area, he has the responsibility for legally and fiscally structuring acquisitions and sales of properties, companies (share-deals) and joint ventures. Before joining FAY Projects, he worked as chartered accountant and tax consultant for PwC Deutsche Revision AG and its precursor companies between 1991 and 2005. Having transferred to FAY Group in 2005, he initially served as managing director, then moved on to become one of the company's managing partners in 2007, and has since then worked as close personal advisor of the Chairman of the Advisory Board, Prof. Andreas-Norbert Fay. In late 2008, Wolfgang Heid was appointed as Chairman of the Board and CEO.

Ralph Esser

Managing Director

Ralph Esser's sphere of ownership at FAY Projects includes distribution, funding, liquidity control, as well as the control of strategic alliances and partnerships.

Ralph Esser started his professional career as a classic banker. In 1992, he began to seriously study the real estate market. Having completed a degree program at the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel (EBS), he gathered valuable leadership experience with renowned mid-market property companies, before transferring to FAY Group as Managing Partner.

Carl M. Fay

Managing Director

Carl Fay joined FAY Projects in 2023 and is Managing Director of acquisitions, controlling and debt capital markets.
Prior to joining FAY Projects, Carl acquired extensive experience in these fields while working for Tishman Speyer in the Acquisition & Development division among other positions. Prior to that, he worked as part of a Pan-European investment manager where he was responsible for underwriting, structuring and executing debt and equity real estate investment products.
Carl Fay is alumnus and part of the network of the European Business School Oestrich-Winkel, holds a degree in Real Estate Economics & Finance and a diploma in international business administration.

Ingo Lindner

Managing Director

Ingo Lindner is in charge of engineering and realisation, development calculations, the execution of technical due diligences prior the property acquisitions, as well as project control until completion, all owner/builder functions, and consultancy.

Mr Lindner has 27 years of professional experience in the areas of construction supervision, project control and project development of new construction and refurbishment projects. The architect, who is authorised to submit building documents, began his professional career at HOCHTIEF in 1994 before moving to the area of project management and project development in 2001. Most recently, as technical managing director of the Zielconcept Group, he was responsible for the project development of new building projects in Berlin. His references include the new construction of the Federal Ministry of Economics in Berlin, the Neckarforum in Esslingen, the Philippine Embassy in Berlin and the new construction and refurbishment of over 2,000 flats.

Prof. Andreas-Norbert Fay

Chairman of the Advisory Board

Prof. Andreas-Norbert Fay is Chairman of the Advisory Board, and in this role responsible for the strategic alignment of the company and for the high level customer relationship. He was already active in the family business while still enrolled in a legal degree program at the universities of Heidelberg, Lausanne and Mainz between 1981 and 1987. Having been admitted to the bar and having obtained a degree in real estate economics from the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel (EBS), he began to devote himself to the company full-time. In 1994, he was appointed to the senior management, and served in various roles until 2008. In the years since, he has chaired the Advisory Board.
