Description
Refurbishing the entirely outdated care home in a coveted downtown residential area was no longer a paying proposition. A new concept of creating inner-city housing for families and care facilities for the elderly at the same time permitted an economically sustainable use of the property while preserving the nursing care places. The cross-generational living format has been lauded as a model approach.
