On the 8,430 sqm site on Mercedesstrasse, a five to six-storey, modern and sustainable building will be constructed by 2024. It presents itself with three individual, non-orthogonal structures that form the entrance to NeckarPark. The buildings are grouped around a publicly accessible courtyard, which is described as a “green valley” with its green facades and green roofs. CANNION focuses on the user and passers-by. The quarter functions like a small village and integrates an attractive mix of uses including offices, hotel, retail, fitness and gastronomy. Office users can expect modern and flexible office units, such as combi, multi or individual offices with optimal daylight comfort due to the building geometry, integrative technology approach, creative and quiet zones. The hotel with approx. 180 light-flooded rooms will have its own address on Mercedesstrasse and a separate, representative entrance via the green interior area. CANNION has already been awarded the Wired Score certificate in PLATINUM as well as the DGNB Pre-Certificate in GOLD.
